Alexandria
When Alexandria arrived at the shelter she was emaciated and suffering from a severe skin infection. Many weeks of medications, a high quality dog food and tons of TLC Alex is the picture perfect German Shepherd. She is about 4 years old and is extremely energetic. Alex does not get along with other dogs and does not like cats. She loves to be with people of all ages and and will make an excellent family dog. If you're a Shepherd fan Alex is true to the breed. Conall
Conall is a 5 year old American Foxhound that will adjust in pretty much any home. He gets along great with other dogs and will behave himself around a dog savvy cat. He also gets along with people of all ages. Conall has traveled all the way from Georgia to find a home where he will be a cherished family member. He is one goofy dog that loves to play,play,play. Due to his natural instinct to hunt a fenced yard would be ideal for him. Conall is neutered,vaccinated,heartworm tested,and microchipped. This is one terrific family dog so he hopes you'll stop in and see him soon.

Puss
Puss is a handsome medium hair orange cat. Puss arrived here at the shelter on October 1, 2008. He is a cat that everyone seems to love, but for some unknown reason he never gets adopted. He is a great cat and will do great in a home with kids 12 and older. He does need to be on a higher quality cat food, due to urinary tract infections in the past. As long as he is one that it is no problem. He really deserves to be in a home and I hope that someone reading this can help make that come true. Puss was born in December 2005. He is a neutered male.

JoJo
JoJo- DOB July 2009 JoJo is very friendly and loves attention. Gets along just fine with dogs, but is not thrilled with all the cats. She is usually the first one to greet you and follow you around. A great family pet is what she would make.

Kimmy
Kimmy DOB March 2005 This is Kimmy and she is a spayed female. She has such a cute face and her coloring is a white and brown tiger. Kimmy is here because a couple of cats kept beating her up. She does not like dogs. A home with calm cats. Kimmy is doing great in a room full of cats, but they also don't bother her. She loves people very much! A little shy at first, but I will come around.

 Tobi
Tobi is about 10-11 years old. She is a declawed spayed female. A pretty tiger with a white smudge on her nose. She tolerates the cats and doesn't like those dogs. She has her favorite spot and if someone is in her spot, Tobi will stare at them until they move. It's pretty funny!

Dana
Dana is a quiet 7 1/2 year old spayed female. She is black and white. Dana has been here for over a year. Her perfect home would be a person that wouldn't mind a cat on their lap. Dana is fine with cats, but doesn't like them in her face. She is also fine with a respectful dog. She is a real people cat and wants to be on you and if she can't be, Dana is very content sleeping in her cat bed. Please come to the shelter and relax for a while, sit on the floor and hang with Dana, she lives for that. Dana has been here well over a year.

Burger
Burger is a 2 year old neutered male. He has gorgeous long hair, but as you can see in this picture that he was shaved and given a lion clip. He is not crazy about being brushed so we had to shave him. Burger came to the shelter very shy and scared, but he is doing much better now. He loves other cats, but doesn't like dogs. If you have a lonely cat Burger is your guy. It will most likely take Burger a longer time to feel comfortable in a new place. A quieter house would be better for him. His favorite toy is the laser beam, he goes crazy with that. His favorite spot is in front of the window. He loves to watch the birds, leaves,dogs, basically anything that is moving outside. Burger has been here almost a year and a half.

Sprite
Sprite is a 3 1/2 year old all black spayed female. She is a quiet girl, but would do great in any type of home. She is a loner in the cat room, but she is fine with other cats. She is also good with dogs. She loves the attention of people and loves to curl up in a cat bed. Her latest thing is to get under the blankets. Sprite is an awesome cat and is well overdue to be in her forever home. She has been with us since January of 2009. I don't know the answer as to why she is still here. I do know that she will make a great companion.

Tilman
Hi my name is Tillman. I’m a 1-1/2 year old Lab/Pit mix. I’m a happy boy that is full of energy. I’m also in need of training, on the leash and obedience. I’m kind of a 70 pound puppy. I need a family that will stay committed to training me and making me a part of the family. I absolutely can not live with cats. I get along fine with friendly female dogs. Stop in and see me soon.

Frisky
Frisky is a 7 year old all black spayed female. She is here because her owner had to move. It didn't take very long for her to adjust, maybe a week or two. She gets along with cats no problem, but doesn't like dogs. She would adjust to any type of household.

Kiko
Kiko is a 7 year old orange and white neutered male. He needs a quiet home because loud noises make him nervous. Kiko loves to be brushed and petted. He enjoys looking out the window. He has been here just over 1 year.
